Wow, picked this up to get a lighter paddle, to work on my control game. I´ve played two days w/ about 12 games. I´m a A+ level player in Venice Beach CA. This paddle was very balanced and the technology in the face is beyond...the carbon fiber does not compress in the middle like other 38mm paddles. The edges are molded in a tad so it looks sleek wo the fat waffle look or feel. The power is great, took some overheads at 70% thinking I could break this "cheap" paddle but man after the 3rd game I let loose, the balance of power and control are right on, just as the description states. This was an impulse buy bc some reps out here overcharge for Wilson/Dropshots...I love the blue white combo as well and nobody has this paddle. Being names after a 5x Venice Beach champion, I´m glad to continue my own legacy as the "asian bad ass," while the legacy continues to give lessons and make his own signature line of paddles at the infamous Venice Beach courts. I went ahead and purchased 4 more w/ some clothing and accessories; confident in the descriptions of gear sold on this site...Smashinn for life, thanks to a great site w/ great prices.
Wow, best ever
The price 10, graphics 10, but light wt is above and beyond....I play like 16-20 hrs a week w/ padel and paddle tennis. I use this for paddle tennis, lighting fast at the net and so flickable since its so light....so the sacrifice is less construction and I´m worried about breaking it, after a month, it has spider webs around the center holes, two paint chips on one side so the durability is def in ?. I lay of overhead slams bc I´m concerned, but this paddle helps me destroy people at the net...also when my forearm is sore I appreciate the lightness of this paddle, power and touch both can be utilized as well when needed. I wish they made more paddle along these specs.
Lightest paddle ever
This was my second one thinking I´d crack my first one....7 mo. now and my first one hasn´t cracked yet....very light and awesome, one thing I noticed after months of playing is that power only comes in the middle of the paddle....since it´s so light that makes sense....but durability is suprisingly above average. It may be too light for some but again it is easy on the forearms and great for controlling the net when shots go away from you...
