Closca mask was born in April as a solidarity project at a time when the world was facing the health crisis of COVID-19. It emerged not as a new fashion accessory, but as a symbol of reflection and social change: Closca Mask represents an icon of an empathetic and united society. To do this, we launched a pre-sale for our project, where the profit of our sales were directed to donations of hygienic masks for vulnerable groups. To date we have donated more than 150 000 units.

COVID-19 affected, not only our way of working but, it also affected immensely the delivery times and our response to customers who supported and participated in the project through the pre-sale. Closca Mask is a filter container with an internal pocket of 150x90mm that can incorporate different type of filters. The pack includes 6 high protection washable filters that once placed inside the pocket fits in the mask, as well as a nose adjustment piece for optimised comfort and covering.

High efficiency, reusable and washable filtration system. The Closca Mask pack includes 6 reusable hygienic filters* (Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) >95%), which are washable (up to 5 washes and maintaining the BFE >90% until the fifth wash) according to UNE0065: 2020 regulations. The filters are manufactured and certified in Spain and have been used during the end of the lockdown by the Health Gov in Valencia (Spain).

* Reduce your carbon footprint: 6 filters reused and washed 5 times each, are equivalent to 30 disposable masks.

Adjustable and comfortable. The special VELCRO® T-type neck support system provides an adjustment that fits without catching the hair. It is attached to the contour of the head with an elastic band avoiding grip on the ears offering greater comfort thanks to a pad on the nose bridge.

Hygienic, protective and breathable bag to store the mask safely when not in use. Avoid keeping your mask out of the bag when you are not using it.

Breathable micro-perforated fabric with high breathability. Designed as a ´´second skin´´ that fits to the face, avoiding sweat and odors.

To guarantee your safety, and everyone else’s, for reasons of hygiene, no changes or returns are allowed once the safety seal on the box has been opened.

DISCLAIMER: Material of hygienic masks UNE0065:2020, recommended by the Ministry of Health as a complement to the measures of physical distance and hygiene in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The filtering materials are manufactured and tested in Spain and they have been scrutinized to the results of the test 2020TM0677 carried out for hygienic masks based on the performance requirements of the surgical mask standard EN14683:2019+AC:2019 point 5.2.2, obtaining a bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) (%) >95%.

Closca Mask is not considered by the European Regulation EU/2016/425 as a PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) or as a medical device by the European Regulation EU/ 2017/745. Closca Mask should not be used where the use of PPE is required nor as a medical device.

The use of Closca Mask for children must be done under the supervision of an adult. Please consult the recommendations and use guidelines of official bodies such as those indicated by the Spanish Ministry (+) and the World Health Organization (+)
